These 12 close reading response bookmarks are a part of the much larger Close Reading Toolkit for Literature. I got so many requests for just the reading response bookmarks, that I decided to make them a product on their own. They are meant to be used while reading a chapter book or short story and a great way to help your students dig and little deeper and keep them accountable for their reading. The first 3 bookmarks are annotation guides and the remaining 9 are formatted as mini graphic organizers. The bookmark format is not only fun, but also the perfect size for reluctant readers and writers. Best of all, you can use these bookmarks again and again, even within the same book! Perfect for literature circles, independent reading programs like reading workshop, or when you don’t have a literature guide.
Each page includes four bookmarks, all identical, except that the first two feature girl clip art and the second two feature boy clip art.
