Make coloring meaningful and decorate your classroom with these 50 growth mindset posters! Each poster features a different growth mindset statement, affirmation, or quote. There are 30 different designs to color (so some designs are on two different posters). Each poster is presented in both landscape and portrait formats.
In addition, the posters come with reflection pages and graphic organizers that can be used in conjunction with the posters. There is also a half-page “Hooray” note that you can send home when you see a student demonstrating growth mindset.
But wait, there’s more! With the bundle only, you also get 10 Teacher Quote Posters. Because no one needs to relax more than you!
Suggestions for use:
-Decorate your classroom. Swap out the posters on a regular basis to feature different students’ work.
-See if your admiration will allow you to post colored posters in other parts of the school such as the office, lunch room, hallways etc.
-Feature a different poster each week or month. Have all your students color the same poster and display them all over your room. Consider discussing the poster while the students are coloring. It will be fun to see the different ways your students color the posters and seeing the same statement over and over again will really help them to internalize it.
-Allow students to color posters during indoor recess, read-aloud, or as a calming activity. Students can take posters home to decorate their own rooms.
-Add a writing component by requiring students to fill out the included reflection pages before coloring a poster or use the statements on the poster as a writing prompt for journals or paragraph writing.
-Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils for coloring. Perhaps you have “special” markers or pencils that you could let students use for this project.
