This product features 6 different posters to help your students understand the five types of informational (nonfiction) text structures. Each poster includes a definition, an example paragraph, a question to ask yourself, and signal words to look for. In addition, a poster summarizing all five of the text structures is included. Please note that example paragraphs all about terriers.
Each poster is presented in color (just enough to make them pop, without using too much ink) as well as in black-line, which you may want to let your students color.
Each poster prints on regular 8.5 x 11 printing paper in landscape. They should print with very thin borders. If you have thick borders, try adjusting your printer to “print actual size.” You could also print the posters on larger paper.
