Reading Genres Posters – Mini Anchor Charts for Word Walls & Reference

Description

This product features 11 different Literary Genres posters. The first poster is a summary of all 9 genres with definitions. The next 9 posters each focus on a different type of literary genre. Each poster includes a definition, sample text, tips, and three “titles you may know.” The final poster is a summary of the five types of traditional literature (fairytale, fable, legend, myth, tall tale) with definitions.

The posters are have just enough color to make them “pop” without using a ton of ink. Black line versions are also included. Use them as is, or let your students add the color themselves!

Each poster prints on regular 8.5 x 11 printing paper in landscape. They should print with very thin borders. If you have thick borders, try adjusting your printer to “print actual size.” You could also print the posters on larger paper.
