Multiplicative comparisons are tricky! Use these 32 task cards to help your students master this concept. This set utilizes the three types of problems for this standard (see Common Core Math Table 2.) Both the numerical form and written form of the numbers are used so students can gain familiarity with both. A Challenge Card is also included which requires students to write out the equation using a symbol for the unknown number. There is a student answer sheet along with an answer key for self-checking.
The cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. It works well to keep them in a baggie or envelope. Another option is to hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.
