  • Blankity-Blanks At Home Version: This set was created during the COVID-19 Crisis. Except for the last three, each of the 20 stories is about something that generally takes place at or near home. Here’s what teachers are saying:

✏️ “This was a great way to get students to practice using different parts of grammar in a fun way. Students were engaged in the worksheet and read it to their partners afterward. I’m happy I purchased it.” -Sydnee

✏️ “I was surprised when I learned my students had never heard of “Mad Libs” before. Once I explained what to do they were so excited to do them and could not wait to share these with the class. I am using these to help reinforce parts of speech and DAZE/MAZE scores for DIBELS.” -Shannon T.

✏️ “My students LOVE these. If I don’t give them one on Fun Friday it’s full rebellion (I’m mostly kidding). And the best is that I’m “tricking” them into learning verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs.” -Lindsey B.

My students BEG to do these during grammar! I am sure to float around to answer any grammatical questions and to be sure that they are properly utilizing the resource. Have even used for free/game time.

  2. Mrs M

My students absolutely loved doing these! We had a ‘Madlibs’ day during our grammar block where we used these and they looked forward to that day every week! Thank you!

  3. Mamae

Is there a more fun way to practice grammar? I do not think so!

  4. Rebecca R.

My students really got into mad libs! They loved the silly stories they would get, plus they got additional practice with identifying parts of speech.

  5. Angela Moreno

A great way to help my students in small group practice parts of speech. After the first couple, my students were helping each other to remember what nouns, verbs, and adjectives were. And we had some great giggles in the process!

  6. Tarra Scott

My students loved doing this as their bell work and TWCIDNs (Teacher What Can I Do Now?). It really helped them be more aware of parts of speech and the best was listening to them laugh as they took turns reading their stories to each other.

  7. Amanda Taylor Girardi

Fun, engaging, and well-made! Students look forward to these during morning meeting and after tests!

  8. Happy Bilingual Teaching

Very nice! The kids loved these during Distance Learning. The stories they made were so silly and they were so much fun for them to create.

  9. michelle S.
