You will need a container of some sort to make the game โ an oatmeal container, coffee can, or quart-sized milk carton (with the top cut off) will work well. The container will be your Game Bin.
Decorate your Game Bin and glue the directions to the front. Alternatively, you could make a directions card by laminating the directions. Print, cut, and laminate the game cards. Mix the game cards into another set of Task Cards. You can use any number of game cards that you wish. This game will work best with multiple choice or short answer cards that can be answered quickly as opposed to those that must be worked out. You will also need an answer key.
Students take turns drawing cards out of the Game Bin and answering questions. If the student answers correctly, she may keep the card. If she answers incorrectly, the card goes back into the Game Bin. Another player can check the answer using the answer key.
The three types of cards create different games! You can even combine the cards to make the games even more engaging.
The game cards were designed to be used with task cards I have created; however, they may work with other sets as well. You can find 100s of task card sets in my TpT store.
