Description
This is a great activity because it showcases the abominable snowman! Automatic fun factor! Students can complete a mixed operations math sheet and find the answers in a number search puzzle! This gives it a self-checking component! When students are finished, they can create their own abominable snowman! The craft uses only 1 sheet of paper per student. To make it a little more special, students can add cotton balls to their finished product!
The students will be motivated to finish their math work so they can create their own Abominable Snowman! Plus, their finished products will make super cute decorations or even ornaments to send home.
The math problems include addition, subtraction, double digit multiplication, and long division problems.
This product is easy prep and loads of fun for students to play!

The project is very cute, however, my students struggled to build the box and needed my help with the tabs and glue. They enjoyed putting the cotton on the Yeti and enjoyed having it as they started the new unit for winter.

Great review of 4th grade math skills thus far. Students were engaged by the ‘word search’ style of answer sheet. They loved creating the abominable snowman- even as 4th graders!
