Description
This easy prep Santa’s beard game is a fun way to add a little holiday cheer to your classroom! Just print the game board, grab some dice and cotton balls, and let your students start practicing! Students roll two dice to create a fraction and then cover their game board with the fraction they rolled. If they don’t see the fraction they rolled, they can also cover an equivalent fraction! Plus, this product includes a basic worksheet that students can complete to show their ability to create equivalent fractions.

My students LOVED this activity! I used it as a ‘brain break’ before we went on winter break. We used foam discs from our math manipulative kit. I think any circle shape could be used.

This was great for practicing this skill. It was just enough without overwhelming the students.
