Teacher Tip

Hereโ€™s what teachers are saying:

โœ๏ธ “Teaching grammar is not easy for students. There are a lot of rules to remember! This product made teaching synonyms and antonyms so much fun! It was wonderful seeing true learning happening while using this product!” -Megan R.

โœ๏ธ “We use these as a whole class in a 30 seconds- one and done game. every student picks one, reads it aloud and everyone writes his or her answer- and we move on- when we are done we check our own answers from the key I put on the document camera.” -Caren R B.

โœ๏ธ “I LOVE LOVE LOVE your resources. Everything about them is exactly what I would do if I weren’t so busy with absurd amounts of paperwork and documentation! My favorite is how clean and beautiful they LOOK! (they make me want to take out my cardstock, pens, and markers!) Thank you for sharing your gift!” -Buyer

15 reviews for Antonym Task Cards – Set 2 – Grades 4-6 – Print & Google Apps Digital Options

  1. Jazmyne A.

A great way to practice antonyms. Students sometimes struggle with the vocabulary, depending on their reading level and exposure to vocabulary in general, but overall feel successful after completion.

  2. Candice Clark

This is a great way to review. My incoming sixth graders could not remember basic things such as synonyms and antonyms. This is a fun way to refresh.

  3. Kelly Whittier

I loved the challenge level of these for my fourth graders. It exposed them to a lot of different words and made them think. Thank you!

  4. Patricia I.

My students loved using this resource and even ask to play for free choice time!

  5. Kristen Munchinsky

I love how well I can incorporate all of the task cards into my lessons. They make excellent starters, review and problem solving for the students. As these are used specifically with my GT students, I really like the discussions that we have based upon the words and how we can use opposite information to help us to understand an idea or concept.

  6. Nicole S.

This is a great resource to use for test review. Thank you!!!

  7. ELLPro

I absolutely love this product/resource. It really helps my students and is very engaging!

  8. Kayla’s Best Resources

Very easy to put together and is a great self-checking center.

  9. Meagan H.

These are great! I used them with and without the multiple choice part. These could also be used for using context clues to figure out unknown words.

  10. Karen M.

I’m using these as ‘Do Now’ activities at the start of class!
