This PowerPoint consists of 32 animated slides, which each ask students to use context clues to find the meaning of a given word, along with 3 multiple choice options. When you first display each slide, you will see only the question. Students who need a greater challenge can try to define the word at this point. When you click, the 3 multiple choice options appear, making the question easier for those who need the differentiation. The final click reveals the correct answer.
This would be a great activity to use with the whole class. Students can answer verbally, on individual white boards, with sign language (A,B,C), or on notebook paper. It could also be used with individuals at a computer. This will work well for test prep. or review.
Please note that this PowerPoint is in Show format and cannot be edited.
