This decimals kit builds on what students learned about decimals in 4th grade by adding the thousandths place. Students will focus on understanding the value of digits in decimals and representing them in expanded notation, expanded form, and standard form. It’s great for 5th graders, but is useful for challenging 4th grade students as well.
