Description
Help students practice plotting decimals (to the hundredths) on number lines with this interactive digital resource created for Google Slides. In this digital activity, students will practice counting money and will then place the value of the money on the correct position of a number line. Some of the numberlines have intervals of tenths and some have intervals of hundredths. Some of them are also missing the labels on the ticks so that the students must work a little harder to find the answer. As an extension activity, students will create their own number line. This activity is self-checking!
Plus, there’s a quick video that explains the activity to the students.

My students LOVED this! We found a way to still do this with a partner despite having to be socially distanced. It was a great way to allow them to work together but still be distant. They loved racing each other to finish!
