This resource includes 32 task cards for practicing the description text structure. Cards 1-16 describe relatable, fictional situations. Cards 17-32 are descriptive informational text.
Each card features two questions.
While students can give written responses (answer sheets are included), these cards would also work well for group discussion or as an activity for partners, especially in the beginning. If students are completing the cards as an Easel Activity, they can highlight the supporting details rather than typing them out.
There is also Challenge Cards that can be used with any other card in the set.
