Michele Trent –

Colleen B. –
My students loved the activity! I especially like that it gave choices for the writing prompts!
Gretchen Tracy –
We had a couple of NTI days right before break. I used part of this resource for a chance to let kids get creative (something standardized testing has sucked out of education). I love the responses I got! It’s simple to use and packed with so much educational goods.
Shana H. –
My students are terrible at writing at the moment, but we’re working on it. I love that not only are there different prompts for opinion, narrative and sequencing, but there’s CHOICE. I’m letting my students choose between either narrative right now. They are adding their ideas to the prompt page then recording their narrative in their writing journal for their rough draft. They will edit and revise it from their writing journal until they are ready for a final draft which they write on lined paper or type depending on how I want them to turn it in. Those that finish their narrative this week will start on an opinion. I love that they get a choice between two again! I will be using these again next year for sure.

This was a quick paragraph writing assignment for the fall season. It was nicely broken down into three areas (narrative, opinion, informative).
