My students enjoyed doing this and we talked about our answers after they went through the digital set of 24 inference questions. I got a lot of variety of answers – which makes sense since inferring is taking what we know and adding our experiences. Many of my students hadn’t played Checkers or even been to a wedding, so they weren’t always able to infer the correct answer but their variety led to class discussion and I love that! They asked to do more – which is a win!

This resource made inferences a little easier to understand for my students; they were able to practice making inferences in a consistent way to get used to the skill. This helped so much with my kiddos because they were able to focus on the content and not understanding how to complete different assignments.
