I love this seller’s task cards! I plan to buy the big bundle and take time to laminate this summer.

Really great resource! I find myself constantly going back to these task cards when targeting inferencing with my speech therapy students. Great to use before moving on to longer texts.

My students enjoyed doing this and we talked about our answers after they went through the digital set of 24 inference questions. I got a lot of variety of answers – which makes sense since inferring is taking what we know and adding our experiences. Many of my students hadn’t played Checkers or even been to a wedding, so they weren’t always able to infer the correct answer but their variety led to class discussion and I love that! They asked to do more – which is a win!

This resource made inferences a little easier to understand for my students; they were able to practice making inferences in a consistent way to get used to the skill. This helped so much with my kiddos because they were able to focus on the content and not understanding how to complete different assignments. The resource includes enough practice that is accessible to my students (complexity). The format lends itself to individual, group or classroom work. I plan to use this bundle as long as I teach ELA, regardless of the population.

These cards are great practice for making inferences. I have been reading them aloud to my students so that their reading fluency doesn’t get in the way of their understanding. We will transition to having them read the cards on their own when they become better at inferences.

I love having this resource in my toolbox to target inferencing skills at reading level. The boom cards are a bonus~!

It’s difficult to find task cards and resources that are the rigor of standardized testing. This fits the bill but is still fun and engaging. Thank you!

Really liked using this resource with the digital check option. My students loved checking to see if they got the answers correct. Some were very challenging for my 4th/5th grade students but was great to see them try to work through the answers.

Absolutely love this. Thanks so much for all of your hard work ๐

The students enjoyed using their inferencing skills to figure out the answers. The students were very engaged.
