Here’s what teachers are saying:
✏️ “These have been great for inferencing practice! I have laminated these cards. I’ve been able to use these as a simple game. Each student picks a card and after reading/answering they reveal their “points”, which is the number on the card. They love it!” -Debbie B.
✏️ “I use these for my speech sessions often. Love any of Rachel’s task cards, they are great. These are awesome informational passages too instead of of the usual fiction ones. Highly suggest for kids with inferencing/abstract reasoning goals!” -Maria R.
✏️ “Highly suggest laminating these cards because I used them over and over and over again with my students working on inferencing! I love how it’s a digital activity too now!” -Sara T.

Great resource! Variety of topics, some of which require a little background knowledge. Requires students to put on their thinking cap to make an inference. My students enjoyed the activity.

I really like these task cards. I use them for small groups where I have students work with a group to reinforce a specific skill.

I really like the easiness of using it on Easel, its new to me but yet seemed easy to follow and for students. The simplicity of the task cards was good too. They are a good source for a warm up at the beginning of class.
Lenore P. –
I used this as a review on a day when I was absent. It kept my students engaged and gave them a better understanding of inferencing.
Lori B. –
I use these cards with students that I tutor. They are engaging and challenging. The answers are not first-glance obvious so the kids are really exercising their inferencing skills.
Laura R. –
I love using these cards! These have some really interesting information in the short passages and my students really had to think hard to answer the questions.
BETHANY D. –
My students loved the Easel activity. I used this for a Third Grade class and the subject matter was a little too advanced. However, we used this as a whole class activity and it really stretched their thinking! I still think this is a Great Resource!

These are perfect if you have 5ish minutes left and need a filler or as an exit ticket task! I even use them as task boxes for students while I’m assessing another student. Love all of them!
