These were great for integrating reading and science together. Students were practicing their reading comprehension skills while reading about animal adaptations.
Laura J B. –
Thank you for making a task card that the students had to practice their short answer skills. Both sets of skills were valuable to me.
Alicia D. –
I really love the short, clear passages that allow for quick practice when introducing text structure type. My students were able to catch on quickly and feel successful.
shannon R. –
These are great for center work or independent work. It’s a good way to do a quick check if a student has learned the skills taught.
Aimee S. –
I love the task cards in general for a variety of purposes, but this set is one of my favorites. We put them up around the room and students moved around to answer all of the cards. This skill is challenging for 3rd grade, and the extra practice using short passages really helped my students master the concept.
Candice P. –
