1. DIVISIBILITY:

Introduce students to factors with this reference resource. It’s designed to help students see the numbers that each value is divisible by. Use the small or large number cards to create a number line or bulletin board.

How it Works:

• The numbers 1-9 are color coded
• The numbers 1-100 are shaded in with the color of each number (1-9) that it is divisible by.
• Students can see at a glance if a number has a factor of 1 through 9.

This resource is great for introducing factoring, finding common denominators, and reinforcing the relationship between multiplication and division.

2. RAINBOW FACTORS:

Any multiple of 100 is underlined on the poster. This serves 2 purposes:

1. Students can create equivalent fractions with denominators of 100 to help relate fractions and decimals

2. Students can visually see that multiples of bigger numbers get larger at a faster rate
