At the start of both the Prefix and the Suffix sections, there are several worksheets that introduce students to some of the more common affixes. The rest of the sections are devoted to more practice using these affixes with a short multiple-choice quiz at the end. The Prefix and Suffix section provides opportunities for students to practice using prefixes and suffixes together.
The first two pages in the Roots section focus on just three common roots and their meanings in order to introduce the concept. The following pages provide more opportunities to explore Greek and Latin roots.

Ms Koss –
I loved this resource and how it broke down what a root word is and how prefixes and suffixes influence the meaning of a word.
Emily W. –
I used this resource to create practice packets for my students. They hit on many different greek/latin roots that these kiddos need to know. We do some pages together and I assign others for homework. This has really helped them to really understand morphology and practice with multisyllabic words.
Verenise Colado –
I love using these sheets as review and for morning work! I love the clear explanation for each prefix. This helps my students review their knowledge of words.

My kids enjoyed these worksheets on prefixes, suffixes, and root words. I used these as a refresher before an observation lesson on this topic. These were perfect! Thanks!

have been using this resource with my virtual and in-person students at the same time. I use the Google Slides for the virtual and print the pdf for the in-person. I can see what everyone is doing at the same time. It is organized and includes a lot of practice for each skill.
