According to Duke University Professor, Harris Cooper, students’ academics are affected by the summer holiday. He poses that at best, students make little to no academic gains, and at worse, students lose 2-3 months of learning. He also found that summer loss was greatest in math, especially math computation.
Give your students the tools they will need to enter 5th grade with confidence! Each page boasts many math problems that are sure to keep your students sharp! Don’t let what they worked so hard to learn in 4th grade disappear!

Weโre looking to avoid the โsummer slideโ. This is a great set for at-home practice with my kids.

Gave this out for kids to do a summer school. Also used it at the beginning of the year for review!

This is a great resource for independent work and early finishers! Thanks ๐

My students and their parents loved having this resource to continue practicing and reinforcing math skills at home. Thank you so much!

This resource is fantastic. ALL major math skills are reviewed in a format that does not overwhelm students. Though I used this as a summer review for 4th graders, it is so good that I plan to use it as review/daily work with other grades during the school year. I only wish the resource didn’t have the word ‘summer’ or the ‘4th’ grade level indicated on the worksheets.

I used this with my summer ESY program. It was a great resource. Loved how each week was planned out.

I gave these to my students the last week of school to take home to review over the summer. Parents said they really enjoyed them and it helped their student out for 5th grade.

This is going to be a perfect resource for my students to review their 4th grade math standards and be extra prepared for 5th grade

This is a high quality product with repetition that students need to retain the skills long term. I highly recommend this summer packet for rising 5th graders.
