Text Features for Nonfiction Flipbook: This paper or digital resource is designed to be a companion for your readers. It covers 13 different nonfiction (informational) text features to help your students use nonfiction texts effectively. Each flipbook page features a definition, an example, and tips for identifying and using the feature. To save paper, there’s a 1/2 page version included.
There is also a blank version so that students can apply what they’ve learned to texts they are reading. This version includes a place for students to illustrate or paste examples of each text feature as well as write notes. There are even some provided illustrations that you can use with the blank version of the flipbook.
