Description
Use these 60 cards as a fun creative thinking enrichment activity. Students can work on cards individually using notebook paper for their answers, or use as a game with groups. When using as a game, students can set a timer for one to three minutes depending on the age of your students. Students use personal white boards or notebook paper to list as many things as possible for the given card. One way to encourage original answers is to score the game by having students cross off answers given by other players.
Each card is numbered so students can easily track which cards they have completed. These cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Another option is to print on card stock.

โ๏ธ “I use this with my students during morning meeting time and they use whiteboards to list items. They enjoy this activity and it keeps them engaged for the entire meeting time. Topics are great and my fourth graders relate well to the given situations.” – April
โ๏ธ “Lists are a life skill, so this is a fun way to weave that into a student’s day. I love providing choices for required activities because they help students learn how to make them, so task cards like these are perfect. These help with soooo many skills students need to develop and while they serve a purpose academically, they also are a great brain break and allow for a clear head before moving on to another activity. I keep them in my ELA shelves for use during “Flex Time” and all students have it on their menu each week so they know they get to choose one at some point.” -Tonya
โ๏ธ “This activity kept my students engaged, I used this resource during our morning meeting. I teach gifted students and they love the challenge of divergent thinking.” – Amy
