***Easel Assessment (only available if you purchase on TPT)
These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at literacy centers, stations, for partner work, or with the whole class using a game like Scoot. Student answer sheets are provided as well as answer keys. There are also Challenge Cards that can be used with any other card to extend the activity. In addition, a student handout and three posters are included as reminders for your students.
Print this set out in color. For black and white printing, please use the included black line version. If you are printing in black and white, consider printing on colored paper. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. It works well to keep them in a baggie. Another option is to hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.

This resource was great practice having my students apply prepositional phrases on their own. Having it be digital was an extra perk!

Thank you! I printed out the task cards but ran short of time. I assigned it as an Easel. My students did great. At the beginning of the lesson they struggled with prepositional phrases, they learned so much with this activity.

Although I’m not a fan of multiple choice exercises, I really liked these. I decided they’d make a break between the other sentence building card sets which are a lot more difficult. Either way, they either know their preps or they don’t and these are quite challenging. I particularly chose these because I came to discover towards the end of last year, that my students had no idea of what a prepositional phrase was!!! ARGH! So, taking the opportunity of working on sentence building, I figured it was a nice add in. Thank you!

This went perfectly with our prepositional phrases review. The task cards were engaging. The digital option is perfect for students who need to be out from school.

Context clues can be a difficult concept for many students and this resource helped my students who were confused and strengthened the knowledge for my students who had a firmer grasp on it
