Text structures are always a hard concept for my students to grasp. I immediately introduced this resource. The students grasped the concept of cause and effect so quickly I was surprised! I loved this and reuse it every year!

    2. Megan T.

I paired my Newcomer ELD students to complete slides. I liked the digital aspect, and the clarity of the structure and questions. This allowed the students to use the questions as answer frames and focus on finding the causes and effects.

    3. Alicia W.

My kids struggle with cause and effect. This resource really helped their comprehension.

    4. Kimberly T.

My students were able to work independently or with a partner and complete the activity. I used it as an Easel Activity and I LOVED IT!!!!

    5. Jordan W.

Students used the tasks cards in class while we went through the unit for Cause and Effect. They worked individually as well as in pairs or small groups to work through various cards. Love the visuals of the graphic organizers, this helped my students too!

I plan on using these task cards as part of my FSA review games. Next year I will incorporate these cards with daily lessons when I cover the standard.

    8. Anai Palacios Isidra

I have been using this resource to help my students identify the cause and effect! We do a couple of the task cards as a class and then split students into groups. It is so engaging!

    9. Amanda H.

I used these task cards in small group, whole group, and assigned them digitally to check for understanding. My students get bored with worksheets so these are a great way to practice this skill.

    10. Laura R.

This activity worked well to keep them engaged with cause and effect.
