These cards are aligned to the Common Core and many of the cards will work well for close reading. These cards are meant to be used with books and articles that you provide or that students read independently. Due to the varied nature of informational text, not every card will work with every text, but you should still be able to find plenty of card to use with whatever text you are studying. The questions are also presented in list format for easy reference. The cards address many Common Core Standards, which are listed by grade level in the document.
