In addition to the question cards, there is also a Challenge Card that can be used with every other card in the set to extend the activity. The Challenge Card requires students to write a short paragraph using the idiom on the card.
A student answer sheet is included as well as answer keys so students can check their work. The multiple choice format make these cards great for test prep. Use at centers, in pairs or small groups or with your entire class using a game like Scoot.

I love these task cards for reinforcing idioms! Students, especially English language learners, really need so much practice with figurative language. I love how this bundle includes so many idioms. I also love how the challenge card can be used to for enrichment purposes. My personal favorite way to use this is with the entire class using the Scoot game. Amazing resource!

Great resource! My kids enjoy the photos and the repetition of the questions is great for learning. The photos are great and allow for language expansion such as creating stories of what happened before or after the scene as well as what they can describe from the scene. Would absolutely recommend.
