Description

In this Google Slides activity, students will learn four different ways of thinking about the remainder of a division problem. (TACO strategy) They will then solve some one-step and two-step division story problems and decide which way they should think about the remainder. Afterward, they will find the final answer. This is a fun way to learn some strategies and integrate technology at the same time.

I liked how the story problems helped understand the remainder and how to deal with those.

I’m sorry, I hate to give negative reviews but my students found this resource to be very confusing. I love the idea and dragging the pepper to the correct way to interpret the remainder but some of the questions were confusing even for me like slide 12 and slide 14. I do really like the idea though.
