Hereโs what teachers are saying:
โ๏ธ “Your task card materials are all wonderful and these multistep-story problems live up to their expectations! My students have to go back and reread the relevant parts in order to solve the questions. When they work in pairs, I notice them quoting the story lines that support their thinking and help them come up with an answer!” -Lenore S.
โ๏ธ “I have been using this with my RTI group practicing our word problems strategies, they use the recording sheet and highlight each letter with the information in the story problem to help them solve it. It has helped them understand that not all information or numbers are relevant in a problem.” -Ashley M.
โ๏ธ “These problems truly helped my children become more proficient in word problems. They are difficult but not too difficult for them to solve on their own. Great word problems to teach children to write down their steps! Thank you!” -Tanya L.

A great resource for introducing/reintroducing how to tackle word problems. Love the multi-step and guided multi-step questions.
Teresa Tedder –
My students enjoy using these as practice with task cards. Being able to separate the problems helps with not overloading students who struggle already.
lauren C. –
This was a really great resource for my students ready to work with word problems. I was able to differentiate for my students with learning disabilities.
Emily L. –
These were great task cards for math centers. I really liked how there are multiple questions asked about the same word problem- really forced the students to re-read the problem multiple times to make sure they got all of the important information. Some of my students with learning difficulties had a hard time with the fact that some of the numbers were written in word form. Otherwise, great resource!
Ashley M. –
I have been using this with my RTI group practicing our word problems strategies, they use the recording sheet and highlight each letter with the information in the story problem to help them solve it. It has helped them understand that not all information or numbers are relevant in a problem.
