I used this resource to introduce argumentative texts. My students enjoyed building their own arguments about zany (is there a better word?) topics. Will definitely use again next year. It could be great BOY/Ice Breaker activity…hmmm…

My students really enjoy the would you rather task cards. I use them in small group activities and have students discuss their choices. I also like the early finishers cards, which I use for students who finish the tasks early.

I will be using these as warmups and bell ringers with my seventh grade ELA class. I think many of the prompts are engaging!
