These task cards helped my 4th grader have some solid practice with paraphrasing which is a difficult skill. We enjoyed working on some of these whole group and learning new facts. I also had them do some as an exit ticket and had a lot of fun practicing this skill thanks to this resource.

I absolutely love task cards for stations but also for those students that finish their work fast. Allows them to continue to practice skills taught.

I loved using this resource! I had my kiddos work with a partner on paraphrasing different groups of task cards. This was not only great practice, but a great way to check to be sure students knew how to paraphrase before starting their research!

This was just the resource I needed to scaffold my ESL students’ paraphrasing skills. The task cards cover a variety of topics and vary in difficulty, so it was easy to scale the presentation to each of my classes’ particular needs. Highly recommend.

Paraphrasing on full essays has been easier because of the practice we did when first learning the skill. This resource was perfect.
