60 reviews for Character Traits Task Cards – Making Inferences – Plus Digital Version w/ Audio!

  1. Caitlin K.

These were good for my third graders to talk about, but some of them seem fairly obvious (even to my students). We use these as a starting point and usually add-on our own character traits. However, I like that there is clear evidence to prove the trait for each.

  2. Aimee S.

I used this set during reading centers for my on-level students, and I used them in small groups for students who needed more support. Great resource!

  3. Micah F.

I used this in small group to spiral review character traits. My kids found the stories very engaging. This is a great resource!

  4. Andrea P.

I used this resource as a basic character traits check with my students. It led to great discussions about the meaning of some character traits that I had assumed the students already knew. This resource is not rigorous enough to prepare for a test, but it is a GREAT starting point to help students build knowledge about character traits.

  5. Jenisa H.

My students enjoyed using this resource! They were committed to the resource and had no difficulty beginning. I have not taken the time to prepare this resource, so it was easy for me to use during difficult times.

  6. Miss Brito’s Creations

A way for students to practice and chat with each other to review character traits ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for creating these task cards!!

  7. Natalie E.

These character traits task cards and super cute and awesome for a small group warm up! My students loved figuring out the character trait to describe each person. I loved them!

  8. Emily F.

This resource was great in giving my students little nuggets of information for them to practice identifying character traits while having to provide evidence from the text. My kids really struggled understanding internal traits v. feelings when analyzing longer texts, so these cards allowed me to reinforce the skill with less text.

  9. Joan H.

This is a great resource! My students had little difficulty looking back at the text to support their answers. I used this as a whole group activity on my Promethean board.

  10. ImperfectlyAwesome

I loved this to go over character traits with my students!! This was the perfect little review before we got into our story!!
