I found these to be a great independent activity to assign during reading groups. If you have advanced readers, these may be a bit too easy for 3rd grade but work well for approaching grade level readers.
Marina H. –
Just what I was looking for. A great set of task cards that uses the same short story and asks students more than one question about that story, all while using sequencing words. Excellent resource, especially for those students that just needed a bit more additional practice before assessment.
Ariana M. –
Used this for a small group activities and the kids were very engaged with the task cards. The example with the ice cream cone to teach sequence is a great visual for the kids!
Brittany S. –
This was a great resource! My kids really enjoyed these activities!
LAUREN A. –
This was a great practice for my lower students (5th grade). I will be reusing and looking for more of your great products!
Lisa Jeziorski –
I love that these are easy to grab and that they are short so we can do one everyday combined with our other activities.
Stephanie M. –
It is a great tool to use for DI and for students who struggle with sequence. I had a hard time using it only because my students did not have to take the time to focus on it, they automatically knew what the answers were.
Rachel K. –
The task cards were great to use with my class as center work and review. They loved the slides version, but they kept having issues with some of the slides not working correctly.
Ashley K. –
This was an amazing resource for my low 3rd grade reading group! After reviewing, I assigned it to students in google classroom for independent work. Students were able to listen and follow along with the words and stayed engaged. It set them up for success! Thank you!
MYESHA R. –
This is a great resource to give my students additional practice with sequencing. I love the fact that the passages are short. My students can easily find the information.
