Teacher Tip

Hereโ€™s what teachers are saying:

โœ๏ธ “I used this resource as a center. My students loved answering the questions with a partner. There is just something about task cards that 2nd graders love! As their teacher, I love that these task cards align perfectly with our story elements standard.” -Evie H.

โœ๏ธ “I have an extremely active group this year that thrives from scaffolded, differentiated instruction/activities, so I knew this resource was perfect for my students. My reluctant learners seemed to do well with completing one task card at a time, instead of seeing ALL of the work ahead of them on a worksheet. I varied the number of task cards I assigned students based on practice they needed at the time.” -Sarah P.

โœ๏ธ “These are great for centers or group work to identify story elements. I like that the passages aren’t too long so the students can’t work on it independently.” -Kristin P.
